The Bonbrisco clan is headed to Florida this Christmas. Santa came early so that we could all celebrate together!
Brisco was very excited in the morning. He knew something was up!
He got a warm bath so that he would be very cozy for the party. Now he is able to sit-up all by himself in the bath tub!
First we all made Christmas cookies.
Great-Grandma Bonbrisco came, too!
Brisco did get to try a bit of cookie, but not a bite this big! Gamma tried, though!
Decorating was quite the fiasco. Katie, Zach, Molly, and Jake are cookie artists!
Then it was time for Brisco to open his presents!
Gamma and Papa John got him a wagon!
He just loves it!
Katie and Zach got him a monogrammed bean-bag chair. It's so cute!
Molly and Jake got him a monogrammed "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament. They also gave him his first savings bond, but Brisco was more interested in ripping up the paper, so we have to keep it in a special place.
Katie and Zach also got Brisco a BBQ set. He's going to love grilling along side his daddy this summer!
Santa brought Brisco "Scout" the talking dog. Scout knows all about Brisco! He knows his favorite color (blue), his favorite food (pears), and his favorite animal (dog).
Scout knows Brisco's name, too, and he's helping him learn to spell it!
Brisco and Great-Grandma cuddled with Scout.
We thought he would crawl to Scout, but he's still just rocking back-and-forth.
The next morning, we woke up to a winter wonderland!
So, we had to put on his gear and take him outside for his first snow!
He rode in the wagon all over the neighborhood (actually just around the curve).
It was so special to celebrate Brisco's first Christmas with our family. I'm pretty sure Brisco was thrilled with his gifts, but I think Santa might be making another appearance on Christmas Eve. :)
